It depends.

If you have less than 50 people (total), no, you do not need a permit. If more, yes. If you are getting married at certain venues, they may require one. It’s always best to check!!!

2. What’s the best time of year to get married on PCB? 🌞

Typically the Spring and Fall have the mildest weather, but the beauty of PCB is that you can get married literally ALL YEAR LONG!

The beach is beautiful in July and January, it’s just a different vibe 💕

3. Can I play music during my ceremony? 🎶

Yes, PCB allows music that is not plainly audible more than 200 feet away.

4. Are there nearby accommodations for wedding guests? 🏩

Absolutely!!

Panama City Beach boasts more than 20,000 rooms. From condos to full houses, there is something for EVERYONE in PCB!!

5. What is the average cost of a PCB wedding? 💸

That’s entirely up to you! The beauty of a beach wedding is that it’s entirely what you make it. It can be an intimate experience with you, your honey, and an officiant OR it can be a dazzling affair with all the bells and whistles!

6. How do I get my marriage license? 🪪

You can start the application online, but you MUST finish it IN-PERSON, together at the Bay County Clerk of Courts office located in the courthouse in Panama City. The cost is $86 💰
